Welcome to Rockville Festival Aims to Reassure Fans That Metal Isn't Dead

In its heyday, metal and rock ruled the world.

Bands like The Offspring, Soundgarden and Def Leppard sold out arenas across the United States and stadiums around the globe. Recent years, however, have not been kind to rock music. The spate of pop and R&B hits topping the charts even has some questioning whether metal is dead.

It isn’t.

Monster Energy Music is making it their mission to show bass, guitar and a sick drum solo can still put asses in the seats.

Welcome to Rockville, Monster’s answer to the question of whether metal is dead, is a two-day festival featuring a stacked line-up that includes Seether, Chevelle, Papa Roach, Three Days Grace, In Flames and many more!

The two-day concert is scheduled for 29 – 30 April 2017 at Jacksonville, Florida’s Metropolitan Park.

Tickets are on sale now for the Welcome to Rockville Music Fest. Prices start at $70 for single-day passes. A weekend pass is available for $109.50.
