Switchfoot, the five-member band that burst on the scene with their 2003-hit "Meant to Live," is back with a new album that stakes out a strong contrast to their earlier sounds.

"Float," the lead single from Switchfoot's 10th studio album Where the Light Shines Through, has a happy-go-lucky sound to it when compared to their earlier hit, "Meant to Live."

Where the Light Shines Through was released 8 July 2016 via Vanguard Records and reached #3 on the Rock, Alternative and Overall Digital Albums charts and #10 on the Billboard Top 200 in the first week.

Switchfoot is now embarking on a multi-city, "Looking for America" tour that brings the quintet to Georgia twice this fall. Switchfoot comes to Atlanta's famed Tabernacle, 30 October, and plays a second show at the Thomasville, Georgia Municipal City Auditorium, 3 November.

Tickets and additional tour dates are available at www.switchfoot.com/tour.

Switchfoot consists of Jon Foreman (vocals, guitar), Tim Foreman (bass), Jerome Fontamillas (keys, guitar), Drew Shirley (guitar) and Chad Butler (drums).
