Trump Boasts Being the First Presidential Campaign to Organize All 159 Georgia Counties in 2016

The presidential campaign of Donald Trump appears to be putting the expertise of former Georgia Republican Party Chairman Sue Everhart to good use.

Trump's organization announced, this week, that it is the first 2016 Presidential campaign to organize County Managers in all 159 of Georgia’s counties.

According to the Trump campaign, their county managers consist of veterans of the Tea Party movement, GOP activists, local elected officials and political newcomers "energized and inspired by Mr. Trump’s candidacy" to get involved in the political process for the first time in decades.

"We have such tremendous support all over the country, the people of Georgia have been amazing. We are leading in all the polls, with 33% in the most recent Georgia survey," Trump said in a statement. "The support from this state is so important to me --- with their help we will Make America Great Again!”

On 13 January 2016, the Trump campaign announced the support of former Georgia Republican Party Chairman Sue Everhart. Everhart led the Georgia GOP for three terms, and was Party Chairman when Republicans swept every statewide office in the 2010 elections.
