Passion Pit Schedules Intimate Show at Georgia Freight Depot, 3 September 2015

Passion Pit, the Boston-based band fronted by lead vocalist Michael Angelakos, is headed to Atlanta for an intimate show at the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot next to Underground Atlanta.

The group's Atlanta performance is part of a multi-city tour sponsored by Mercedes Benz USA. The Evolution Tour stop in Atlanta offers a synthesis of entertainment, fashion, and art, featuring Passion Pit as well as local talent. During the event at the Freight Depot, ticket holders will experience art activations by Gregory Siff and Zio Ziegler. The Mercedes-Benz GLA and CLA models will also be on display outside the show.

Tickets are expected to be at a premium for Passion Pit's show, because of the concert venue's size. First built in 1869, the Georgia Railroad Freight Depot has a capacity of 1,300. Tickets are now on sale at www.mbevolutiontour.com/atlanta.

Passion Pit released their debut album Manners in 2009. The follow-up album, 2012's Gossamer debuted at No. 4 on Billboard Top 200, leading the band to perform on Saturday Night Live and headline a sold-out Madison Square Garden. Their latest album, Kindred, was released on April 17, 2015 and includes singles "Lifted Up (1985)" and "Until We Can't (Let's Go)".
