24 days now separate us from the start of the first-ever Chattahoochee River Country Music Festival.
Event organizers initially said over 120,000 people would flock to the Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club in Douglas County, 24 - 26 July 2015. The reality, though, is that festival promoters will fall far short of their lofty attendance prediction.
After Foxhall withdrew from its hosting duties, the Chattahoochee River Country Music Festival was forced to find a new venue. They've found one -- much smaller and fifteen miles down the road.
Festival organizers announced the VFW Complex in Carrollton, Georgia will be the new location of the Chattahoochee River Country Music Festival. The complex features an amphitheatre that seats more than 9,000 people.
Tickets to the event, which once ranged in price from $69 to $1,099, are now free.
