The Georgia Republican Party Actually Has Less Cash-on-Hand Than the Democrats

Georgia Republicans might want to hold off on that victory parade celebrating the Democratic Party of Georgia's financial woes.

Federal Election Commission reports show that the Georgia GOP is down to its last $41,000.

For the period beginning 1 April 2015 and ending 30 April 2015, Georgia Republicans said they raised $139,772.20; spent $126,172.88; leaving the Party with $41,517.34 cash on hand; and zero debt.

Although the Georgia Democratic Party owes more than $60,000 in debt, they actually have more cash on hand ($64,244.29) than the Republicans; which is sure to irk GOP activists.
