Gwinnett School of Math, Science & Tech Named One of America's Most Challenging High Schools

Out of more than 2,300 public and private high schools in the United States, the Gwinnett School of Math, Science & Tech ranked near the top of America's Most Challenging High Schools according to the Washington Post.

The Washington Post ranks the nation's high schools using an index formula that takes the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and Advanced International Certificate of Education tests given at a school each year, divided by the number of seniors who graduated that year. A ratio of 1.000 means the school had as many tests as graduates.

The Gwinnett School of Math, Science & Tech, located in Lawrenceville, had an index of 8.649, placing the school at #26 in the Washington Post's 2015 national rankings.
