Kia Motors America (KMA) today announced November sales of 44,936 units, pushing the fast-moving brand beyond the 500,000-unit mark for the third consecutive year and on pace for an all-time annual sales record.

November sales were led by two cars built in West Point, Georgia -- the Optima midsize sedan, with 12,707 vehicles sold, and the Sorento, with 8,598 vehicles sold.

Kia's U.S. manufacturing plant in West Point is responsible for the creation of more than 14,000 plant and supplier jobs.

For the year-to-date, 240,025 Optimas and Sorentos were sold nationwide. That figure represents 45% of Kia's total car sales in 2014.
