Fulton Co. Commissioner-elect Marvin Arrington Owes $37,605 in Back Taxes to the Federal Gov't

Georgia Unfiltered has learned another Fulton County politician owes back taxes to the Internal Revenue Service.

Marvin Arrington, Jr., who was recently elected to the Fulton County Commission from district 5, has a delinquent federal income tax bill in the amount of $37,605.06.

A federal tax lien was placed on Arrington's home at 3326 Sequoia Avenue in College Park, according to public records. The lien was filed with the Fulton County Clerk of Superior Court on 13 August 2013.

The back taxes cover three years -- 2005, 2006, and 2007.

Campaign finance disclosures show that Arrington raised over $78,000; more than the $37,605.06 Arrington owes to the IRS.
