The TomorrowLand family of festivals is getting bigger.
Sunday night, world famous DJ David Guetta, who is among the many artists performing at TomorrowWorld in two months, announced that Brasil would host its own version of TomorrowLand. in 2015.
Held annually in Belgium, TomorrowLand is the world’s leading electronic dance music event, with this year’s tenth anniversary festival selling 360,000 tickets.
TomorrowLand Brasil is the second global expansion of the TomorrowLand brand.
TomorrowWorld, the first-ever North American version of the event, debuted in September 2013, and saw more than 120,000 visitors from 75 different countries descend upon Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia.
In the hours since the TomorrowLand Brasil announcement, more than 176,000 pre-registration requests were received.
Pre-registration for Tomorrowland Brasil is required for all those who wish to purchase tickets. Pre-registration runs from today until 5 September 2014 and sales begin on 6 September 2014 at www.tomorrowlandbrasil.com.
Over 1.4 million fans of Tomorrowland on social media call Brasil home. The announcement of TomorrowLand Brasil was made last night during a two-way live video broadcast between the main stage at TomorrowLand in Belgium and a live audience of 10,000 in São Paolo. Tickets to the live event in São Paolo sold out in less than one hour.
The second edition of TomorrowWorld, America’s largest 21-and-over electronic music festival, will be held 26 September through 28 September 2014, and features an extensive lineup of the world’s top electronic music acts, brand-new stages, gourmet food and beverage, and all-new premium VIP experiences.
