Security Surveillance Cameras Coming to Tomorrowworld in 2015

The big eye above the butterfly (shown right) is watching you, People of Tomorrowworld, so behave yourselves.

Georgia Unfiltered has learned that ID&T, organizers of the Tomorrowland and Tomorrowworld music festivals, chose Panasonic to provide 30 security cameras for Belgium's Tomorrowland music festival.

Following the pilot program at Tomorrowland this year, Panasonic surveillance cameras will be used at the Tomorrowworld festival in 2015. Tomorrowworld is held in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia.

Debby Wilmsen, Communications Officer at ID&T Belgium said, “The Panasonic surveillance cameras enable our crowd watchers at the ECC [Event Control Center] to monitor the festival site for any potential risks and deal with them immediately. A good network with reliable equipment is therefore very important when running a festival.”

At each event, a structured network consisting of a fiber cable backbone and a wireless network will be installed on the festival site. This forms the basis for the customised Wi-Fi network via which the Panasonic surveillance cameras are controlled from the Event Control Center. Panasonic phones will also be installed for key internal and external communication at the event.

Tomorrowland is scheduled for 18 - 20 July 2014 and 25 - 27 July 2014 in Boom, Belgium.

Tomorrowworld is scheduled for 26 - 28 September 2014 in Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia, USA.
