South Fulton County Boots Bill Edwards Out of Office

Change has come to south Fulton County.

Fourteen years after first choosing him in a special election to be their county commissioner, voters booted Bill Edwards out of office in the Democrat primary.

With all 64 precincts reporting in Fulton County Commission district 6, Emma Darnell currently leads Edwards by 382 votes.

Once the primary results are certified, Darnell will face Republican nominee Abraham Watson in the November General Election.

South Fulton County residents will have their first opportunity to hear from the man they ousted from office, 22 May 2014. Edwards is holding a town hall at the South Fulton Service Center, located at 5600 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park, GA 30349. The meeting has a scheduled start time of 7PM.
