Nat'l Republicans: Kingston & Perdue Provide a Stark Contrast to Nunn's Rubber Stamp of Obama

United States Senator Jerry Moran (R - Kansas), who chairs the National Republican Senatorial Committee, issued the following statement in response to the 20 May 2014 GOP primary results:

"Tonight Georgia voters nominated two strong Republican leaders to advance to the runoff: David Perdue, a conservative businessman that has firsthand experience in creating thousands of good paying jobs; and Jack Kingston, a principled fiscal conservative who fights diligently for Georgians in Washington.

"Perdue and Kingston provide a stark contrast to President Obama and Harry Reid's 'top recruit' Michelle Nunn who repeatedly refuses to take a stand on the issues including ObamaCare. Now Michelle Nunn must stop running from Georgians and start answering the tough questions that will reveal the liberal agenda she supports.

"Michelle Nunn would be another rubber stamp for the liberal Obama agenda in the Senate. David Perdue and Jack Kingston are outstanding candidates and both will ensure victory over Michelle Nunn in November."
