Buckhead Wine Festival Returns to Andrews Entertainment District 5 April

The Buckhead Wine Festival will return to Andrews Entertainment District, 5 April, with an even more impressive selection of wines, spirits and craft beers. The Buckhead Wine Festival is well regarded for its extensive offering of wines and the intimate and informative seminars. Guests can expect to taste 150+ wines from over 50 vineyards.

Ultra-boutique winemakers, Jeremy Baker, President of Thomas George Estates, Matthew Bonanno, founder of Bonanno Estates, Rollin Soles, Principal for Rocco Winery, and Patrick Krutz, owner of Krutz Family Cellars will be presenting their award winning wines and interacting with guests. Additionally, Jason Ingram, with Corsair Distillery, and Sean Geary, from Clown Shoes Brewery will showcase their acclaimed products.

"We are thrilled not only to feature 150+ wines but also to host four ulta-boutique winemakers at one event. This will give the guest a truly unique experience in an intimate and informative setting," said Stephen de Haan, President of Andrews Entertainment District.

Five seminars will be held throughout the day including: Wine 101, Old World vs. New World (both hosted by Master Sommelier Michael McNeill), Craft Beer 101 with a Cicerone, Picking the Perfect Wine Glass... A Riedel Seminar, and Introduction to Cocktail Mixology. In addition, Cellar 56 Wine Bar & Bistro will host two special Winemaker dinners. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Giving Kitchen whose mission is to provide crisis grants to members of Atlanta's restaurant community facing unanticipated hardship.

Tickets to the 2014 Buckhead Wine Festival are $25 for General Admission and $60 for VIP passes, which includes early entry into the festival an hour before it opens to the public.
