Better Georgia Suggests Democrat Jason Carter is Helping Make the State a Laughingstock

Better Georgia, the liberal political action committee staffed by former state Young Democrats president Louis Elrod, is out with a new email attacking "extremist legislation that would make our state a laughingstock and hurt Georgians."

Below is a screenshot:

The so-called "War on Christmas”-themed legislation Better Georgia refers to is Senate Bill 283.

S.B. 283 is a one-page bill that allows local school systems to "educate students about the history of traditional winter celebrations and shall allow students and school system staff to offer traditional greetings regarding the celebrations, including, but not limited to: Merry Christmas; Happy Hanukkah; and Happy Holidays."

In their own words, the liberal PAC Better Georgia believes Senate Bill 283 is extremist legislation that would make our state a laughingstock and hurt Georgians.

Using the transitive property here for a second, if Better Georgia believes Senate Bill 283 is extremist legislation that would make our state a laughingstock and hurt Georgians; and Jason Carter voted for the extremist legislation that would make our state a laughingstock and hurt Georgians; then does Better Georgia believe Jason Carter is an extremist legislator that would make our state a laughingstock and hurt Georgians?

Let Better Georgia's words, and Jason Carter's votes speak for themselves.
