Fulton County Commissioner Thumbs Nose at Douglas County, Praises TomorrowWorld

Georgia Unfiltered is based in Fulton County, and we tend to give Fulton County a lot of grief for being dysfunctional or not accepting measures designed to reform the county's government.

However, Fulton County and organizers of Tomorrowworld should be commended for pulling off an incredible world class event this past weekend.

Fulton County Commissioner Robb Pitts sang the praises of Tomorrowworld at a recent Board of Commissioners meeting, held after the last DJ wrapped up his set at the three day Electronic Dance Music (EDM) festival.

In the video below, Pitts said, "It was a fantastic event. No fights. No cursing. None of that stuff took place.

"I was under the impression, quite frankly from talking to my daughter, that the noise would be just 'boom boom boom,' but that was not the case. And the neighbors, in the surrounding communities in Fulton County in particular, were extremely pleased," Pitts continued.

Douglas County Commissioner Mike Mulcare said he plans on asking the Douglas County Commission to pass a resolution asking Fulton County to reign in TomorrowWorld, after he received complaints that the music volume was too loud. Based on the comments of Fulton County Commissioner Robb Pitts, however, any resolution from Douglas County will fall on deaf ears.
