Rep. Pam Dickerson Reintroduces Photoshop Bill to Make This Illegal

One would think becoming the butt of a joke on the Conan O'Brien show would deter a state representative from proposing preposterous pieces of legislation.

Sadly, that is not the case.

State Representative Pam Dickerson (D - Conyers) reintroduced her "Let's Make Photoshopping a Crime" bill this week.

Dickerson first introduced the Photoshop bill in 2012. It never made it out of committee.

Dickerson's bill, House Bill 39, would make it a crime to electronically impose the facial image of a person onto an obscene depiction; with "obscene depiction being defined as "a visual depiction of an individual displaying nudity or sexual conduct."

The fake, photoshopped picture of State Rep. Dickerson shown here (image courtesy drewprops.com) would be illegal if Dickerson's bill became law, punishable by a fine of up to $1,000, up to one year in jail, or both.

And in case you were wondering, I checked again. There is no sexygeorgialegislators.xxx, but maybe there should be.
