Conservatives Notice Democrat Hypocrites Require Photo ID at Party-Run Elections

I noticed, a few weeks ago, that Georgia Democrats require folks participating in Party-run elections to produce government-issued photo ID before casting a ballot.

I was fortunate not to be the only conservative who noticed this blatant display of hypocrisy by the Democratic Party.

Mike Flynn, writing for, found that it's not just Georgia Democrats who mandate photo ID. Massachusetts Democrats require it as well.

On Saturday, Massachusetts delegates will meet in their state's Democrat party convention. The votes of these delegates will determine whether there are primary elections for their party nominations. With so much at state, Democrats have decided to implement Voter ID requirements.

Wait, what? Democrats tell us that photo ID requirements disenfranchise minority voters, who, inexplicably, have limited access to photo IDs. Yet, at their own convention, they insist that all delegates provide a photo ID to even have access to the convention floor. When their own party is at stake, it seems their priorities are somewhat different that their rhetoric suggests.

I said it on May 21, 2012, and I'll say it again today:

The next time a Democrat starts railing against photo ID to vote, don't let them have it both ways. Remind the Democrats that research shows their Party requires photo ID at Party-run elections.
