Obama Holding Another $10K Fundraiser in GA City with Poverty Exceeding Nat'l Level

He's back, ladies and gentlemen.

Barack Obama is coming back to Georgia.

Obama and the Democrats scheduled a $10,000 per person fundraiser, to be held at the Westin Peachtree Plaza on June 26th.

This marks the second time in four months the President has come to Georgia for a high-dollar fundraiser. And much like his trip in March, Obama's June visit is out of reach for many of his most loyal supporters.

Atlanta is a Democratic city. And in Atlanta, the percentage of persons living below the poverty level exceeds both the state and national averages.

In Atlanta, 22.6% of its residents live below the poverty level. The state average is 15.7%. The national average is 13.8% [SOURCE: U.S. Census Bureau].

For the 22.6% of Atlantans who live below the poverty level, Obama's $10,000 per person fundraiser is out of reach. These good folks can't afford the $10,000 asking price to see their President. These good people will likely never see the President they voted for and defend like he's a member of their own family.

But, according to the Democratic National Committee, Mitt Romney is the presidential candidate that's "out-of-touch."
