The Polls are Now Open. Stop Reading This Blog & Go Vote.

Take a second to look at the lower right-hand corner of the computer screen.

Notice what it says: March 6, 2012.

That's right.

Today is primary day in Georgia.

Polling precincts across this great state are open from 7AM to 7PM.

For information on where to go vote, visit the My Voter Page provided by the Secretary of State's office.

Remember to bring one of the following six forms of photo ID to the polls:

  • A Georgia driver’s license, even if expired;
  • Any valid state or federal government issued photo ID, including a free Voter ID Card issued by your county registrar or Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS);
  • Valid U.S. passport;
  • Valid employee photo ID from any branch, department, agency, or entity of the U.S. Government, Georgia, or any county, municipality, board, authority, or other entity of this state;
  • Valid U.S. military photo ID;
  • or Valid tribal photo ID

Now that all the pertinent information about voting in today's primary is out there, stop reading this site and go vote.
