Georgia Dems Raise & Spend Nearly $1 Million in 2011

Campaign finance reports filed with the Federal Elections Commission show that Georgia Democrats raised $952,044 from January 1, 2011 through November 30, 2011. The Democratic Party of Georgia spent $915,070 during that same period, leaving the organization with $84,121 left in the bank and debt obligations amounting to $30,119.

For the same period, the Georgia GOP raised $1,120,939 and spent $1,102,645, leaving $844,324 in the bank.

Georgia Republicans carried over $826,029 from 2010, while Georgia Democrats carried over $47,147 from that same year.
