U.S. Senate Candidate Michael Thurmond Raises 134K Between July & September

Posted on the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) website is the latest campaign finance report from Democrat U.S. Senate candidate Michael Thurmond. Sadly for Democrats, Thurmond's fundraising numbers are as pitiful as his polling numbers.

For the three month period between July 1st and September 30th, Michael Thurmond raised $134,379.50. That brings his year-to-date fundraising totals to $251,376.50.

The Associated Press reported October 15th that the Isakson campaign raised more than $950,000 for the same three month period [Associated Press (2010-10-15). Isakson raises another $950,000 ahead of election. WRCB-TV (Chattanooga). Retrieved on 2010-10-22.].

Thurmond's campaign spent $131,726.97 and has $103,157.39 left in the bank.

To quote a line from the 1985 film Rocky IV, "Somebody better stop this thing before someone gets killed."
