283,746 Georgians Have Voted Early (as of October 20, 2010)

With two weeks left until the close of Georgia's early voting period, one traditionally Republican county and one traditionally Democratic county lead the state in the number of people casting ballots before the November 2nd general election.

According to numbers provided by the Secretary of State's office, 283,746 Georgians have voted early as of the close of business on October 20, 2010.

Fulton and Cobb are the two counties with the highest early voting totals.

Below are the five counties with the highest number of folks voting early:

1. Fulton - 19,838
2. Cobb - 17,661
3. DeKalb - 16,726
4. Gwinnett - 12,595
5. Chatham - 7,544
