Three Emory Law Graduates To Participate In Attorney General Debate Sept. 20th

Regardless of who wins in November, it is guaranteed that Georgia's next attorney general will be a graduate from Emory Law School.

All three attorney general candidates appearing on the ballot this fall are Emory graduates, and all three candidates will meet in a debate on the campus of their Alma mater next week.

Georgia Political Digest points us to news that Democrat Ken Hodges, Republican Sam Olens and Libertarian Don Smart are scheduled to debate September 20th at 6:30PM.

A reception will immediately follow the debate.

The debate is sponsored by the Emory School of Law and the Fulton County Daily Report. Candidates will take questions from an audience of lawyers, judges and law students, as well a panel from the Daily Report and Emory Law faculty.

The event is free and open to the public. Because seating is limited, attendees are encouraged to RSVP by contacting Julia Kelly at the Daily Report at (404) 419-2815.
