The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) must smell a winner with its attempt to link 8th district Congressman Jim Marshall with embattled New York Democrat Charlie Rangel.
The Macon Telegraph reported Saturday that the NRCC fired off a round of robo calls critical of campaign cash contributed to Marshall by Rangel.
The National Republican Congressional Committee began targeting U.S. Rep. Jim Marshall, D-Macon, this week with a series of telephone calls “with an important message about corruption in Washington.” The Republicans accused Marshall of taking $37,000 in campaign money from U.S. Rep. Charlie Rangel, who faces House ethics charges.
