CQ Politics: Bishop, Marshall A Bit More Vulnerable Than Before

In an article posted at 10:59PM Wednesday night, CQ Politics changed their race ratings for two congressional seats in Georgia [Trygstad, Kyle (2010-8-25). More House Seats Look Like They May Change Hands. CQ Politics. Retrieved on 2010-8-26.].

8th district Democrat Jim Marshall had his seat moved from "Democrat favored" to "leans Democratic."

The seat of 2nd district Congressman Sanford Bishop is now considered "likely Democratic" instead of "safe Democrat."

In other news, former Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin is hosting a campaign fundraiser for Bishop September 13th. The minimum suggested contribution is $250.
