Thurmond Raises $116K, Still Trails Isakson By A Nearly 40-to-1 Margin

In a recent filing with the Federal Elections Commission, Labor Commissioner and U.S. Senate candidate Michael Thurmond reported raising $116,867 in the three months since he announced his candidacy.

Thurmond, however, still trails U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson (R - Georgia) in the money race by a very wide margin.

According to FEC reports filed by the Isakson campaign in March, Georgia's junior senator has over $4 million in the bank.

CQ Politics continues to rate Georgia's senate race as "likely Republican."
