The Albany Herald endorsed Democrat Ken Hodges and Republican Sam Olens for attorney general.

Sam Olens also picked up an endorsement from his hometown newspaper, the Marietta Daily Journal. Democrat Rob Teilhet received the Cobb County newspaper's support as well.

The Athens Banner-Herald, Augusta Chronicle, Columbus Ledger-Enquirer and Macon Telegraph have not yet endorsed any candidates yet. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution no longer issues endorsements.
