Atlanta Press Club Announces Run-Off Debate Schedule

The Atlanta Press Club will host 9 primary runoff debates giving candidates a chance to debate the issues. The debates will take place at Georgia Public Broadcasting (GPB), located at 260 14th Street in Midtown, in front of a live studio audience. Press club members, journalists, college students, and supporters are invited to be part of the live audience. The debates will also air live on GPB.

Below is the schedule of debates:

Sunday, July 25

13th Congressional District Republicans
This debate will air live from 6PM - 6:30PM
Invited candidates include Mike Crane and Deborah Honeycutt

12th Congressional District Republicans
This debate will air live from 6:30PM - 7PM
Invited candidates include Raymond McKinney and Carl Smith

7th Congressional District Republicans
This debate will air live from 7PM - 7:30PM
Invited candidates include Jody Hice and Rob Woodall

9th Congressional District Republicans
This debate will air live from 7:30PM - 8PM
Invited candidates include Tom Graves and Lee Hawkins

Friday, August 6

Public Service Commission, District 2 Republicans
This debate will tape from 5PM - 5:30PM and be posted on the Atlanta Press Club website.
Invited candidates include John Douglas and Tim Echols

Secretary of State Democrats
This debate will air live from 7PM - 7:30PM
Invited candidates include Gail Buckner and Georganna Sinkfield

Insurance Commissioner Republicans
This debate will air live from 7:30PM - 8PM
Invited candidates include Ralph Hudgens and Maria Sheffield

Sunday, August 8

Governor Republicans
This debate will air live from 7PM - 7:30PM
Invited candidates include Nathan Deal and Karen Handel

Attorney General Republicans
This debate will air live from 7:30PM - 8PM
Invited candidates include Sam Olens and Preston Smith
