Graves Named To Transportation, Homeland Security Committees

Life for Georgia's newly elected Congressman has hit a whirlwind pace. U.S. Representative Tom Graves (R - Ranger) was sworn in Monday, found himself in trouble with House Rules Tuesday, and was named to two House Committees Wednesday.

The U.S. House adopted a resolution Wednesday that named Congressman Graves to the Committee on Homeland Security and the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.

Graves joins fellow Georgian Paul Broun on the Homeland Security Committee; and on the Transportation Committee, Graves will serve with Democrat Hank Johnson and Republican Lynn Westmoreland.
