Note To Georgia Dems: Tell Obama To Stay Out Of This State

The defeat of Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter in Tuesday's Democratic primary marked the fourth time that a statewide candidate backed by President Obama failed to win the election.

In Virginia, President Obama campaigned for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Creigh Deeds. Deeds went on to lose in the November, 2009 general election. That same November, over in New Jersey, another Obama-endorsed gubernatorial candidate --Jon Corzine-- was sent home by the voters. And how can we forget Scott Brown's upset victory over Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley in the special election to fill the remainder of Sen. Ted Kennedy's term in office. Coakley too was backed by President Obama.

Notice the pattern?

If, by chance, the President calls and offers to campaign for any Democrat seeking statewide office in Georgia this year, the Democratic candidate should say to the White House, not just no but hell no!

Georgia Democrats don't need any of that bad luck down here. Tell the President to stay out of Georgia.
