Gov. Perdue Makes Farewell Address To The Senate

For the eighth and final time during his tenure as the state's top elected official, Gov. Perdue addressed the Georgia Senate on Sine Die Day touting his accomplishments in office.

"We placed a priority of funding education," Perdue said, "We saved Georgia taxpayers more than a billion dollars a year for more than five years. We maintained Georgia's long history of fiscal management."

"We've done what we could,and I think we've done it well," Perdue said concluding his remarks.
