George Sneed Announces Run For State House, District 65

George Sneed announced last Friday that he would be challenging entrenched incumbent Sharon Beasley-Teague for the Democratic nomination in state House district 65.

"With around four months until the July 20th primary election day, I am eager to let the voters in District 65 know that I’m the only candidate with the experience and leadership to address the lack of representation our businesses have received, the increase in crime, home foreclosures, transportation, and healthcare for all Georgians,” Sneed said.

George Sneed, an emergency room registered nurse, was one of nine candidates running to fill the unexpired term of former state Senator Kasim Reed. Sneed currently resides in East Point with his wife and two daughters.
