A Word Of Thanks For Georgia's Election Workers

2008 was packed with elections, from the local level all the way up to President. That's why more than 100 elections workers received a standing ovation from the Dougherty County Commission Monday. [Source: WALB-TV, "Standing ovation for election workers", December 15, 2008]

For the legislators who read this site, here's a suggestion; a resolution honoring all of Georgia's election workers for a job well done. The poll managers, assistant managers and clerks who man the precincts across this state did an excellent job this year and they deserve some sort of recognition for their hard work.
