WSB-TV is reporting that consumer advocate (and probably the cheapest man in Atlanta) Clark Howard has ruled out a run Mayor of Atlanta:
Clark Howard announced Wednesday morning that he has decided against running for mayor of Atlanta.
"As I got closer to the political world I realized that my life with my family, my kids, as I know it, would be over," Howard said when he made his announcement. [Source: WSB-TV, "Clark Howard Won't Run For Mayor", December 3, 2008]
Clark Howard's announcement means that Georgians can continue to rely on his great consumer tips on radio and television. So the upside is that Clark will continue to save us money. The downside is that the government will continue to find ways to take our money away.
