Al Gore Hitting The Trail For Jim Martin Sunday

The Fort Mill Times (South Carolina) is reporting that former Vice President Al Gore will be in Atlanta Sunday to campaign for Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Jim Martin.

Former Vice President Al Gore is heading to Atlanta Sunday to stump for Jim Martin.

Gore is the latest big name to beat a path to Georgia. Bill Clinton will be in town for a rally Wednesday.

On the Republican side, former Massachusetts Governor and presidential candidate Mitt Romney is making several campaign stops in Georgia for Saxby Chambliss including rallies in Atlanta and Savannah.

Romney is hitting the road again, this time for Sen. Saxby Chambliss, the Georgia Republican embroiled in a campaign for a Dec. 2 runoff election for his Senate seat.

Romney plans to campaign for Chambliss on Friday, and Romney's "Free and Strong America PAC'' has given the Georgian $5,000 for his runoff campaign.
