Wanna Party Nov. 4th? Here's A Short List of the Election Night Events

...With less than two weeks until the 2008 campaign is finally over, local political groups are planning their election night watch parties where supporters can gather for food, fun and to cheer on their favorite candidate as the results roll in.

The DeKalb County Democratic Party is hosting an election night "victory" party at the Holiday Inn Downtown Decatur. The event begins at 7:00PM, is free and open to the public. However, the event is ticketed and there are a limited number of tickets available.

Tickets to the DeKalb County Democrats' election night party can be requested by emailing electionnighttickets08@gmail.com. Tickets are limited to two per person.

The official Democratic Party of Georgia election night party is being held at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Atlanta. Doors open at 7:00PM, but space is limited. An RSVP is required to attend.

And finally, the official Georgia Barack Obama Victory Party is being held at Uptown Bar & Grill located at 201 Courtland Street in downtown Atlanta. A host committee for this event is in formation that includes the Rev. Joseph Lowery, DeKalb County Sheriff Thomas Brown and state Sen. Vincent Fort.

If I've left any election night events out, leave the details in the comments section.
