Columbus Ledger-Enquirer Endorses Stephen Camp for Congress

Meet Stephen Camp.

He's a Democrat. He's running for Congress against a well-funded incumbent and many political pundits don't give him much chance of winning next Tuesday. Nonetheless, the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer has endorsed Camp for Congress saying that he would "bring a breath of fresh air" to Georgia's 3rd Congressional district.

Stephen Camp is a Newnan attorney with the vision and energy to help get our bitterly partisan Congress focused again on the needs of the people. We recommend that you vote for him to replace 3rd District congressman Lynn Westmoreland, who has embarrassed our community once too often. The Ledger-Enquirer's endorsement of Camp included a critique of Republican incumbent Lynn Westmoreland for his votes against the Voting Rights Act renewal and the Emmett Till Unsolved Civil Rights Crime Act which every other member of Georgia's congressional delegation voted for.
