Stephanie Stuckey-Benfield Wants Her Money Back From John Edwards

The AJC reports that state Rep. Benfield contributed about $750 to John Edwards's presidential campaign and contacted state Democratic Party Secretary Steve Leeds, one of Edwards' biggest Georgia backers, to find out how to get a refund.

Benfield's refund request comes as a result of the recent revelations that John Edwards had an affair with campaign aide Rielle Hunter and paid Hunter $114,000 for video shot for his campaign.

Four years ago, I was a Democratic National Convention delegate pledged to John Edwards and I spent some time volunteering on his campaign. This news about Edwards' infidelity is very disappointing.
