Georgia Delegation Votes "Yay" On Standing Convention Committee Reports

The first order of business for the 102 delegates representing the State of Georgia at the 2008 Democratic National Convention was the adoption of the reports from the three standing convention committees -- Credentials, Rules and Platform.

After the credentials and rules committee reports were presented by their respective co-chairs Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean asked if there was any
discussion (there wasn't) and then called for the vote.

The Credentials and Rules Committee Reports were both adopted with no apparent dissent.

After the delegates formally elected House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as the permanent convention chair, the platform committee report was present and adopted by voice vote.
