Famous Last Words: the Victor Hill edition

Just over a year ago, Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill told the Clayton News Daily that he intended "to win four more terms, thus serving 20 years, before leaving the office to a successor." [Source: Clayton News Daily, "Two already campaigning to unseat Hill as sheriff", May 13, 2007]

However, with his defeat in the Democratic primary run-off, Victor Hill's dreams of serving for two decades as Sheriff of Clayton County are now burst.

Talk about famous last words.
