Democratic Strategist Paul Begala Thinks Obama Can Turn Georgia Blue

Democratic strategist Paul Begala, who was instrumental in getting Zell Miller elected governor of Georgia in 1990 and Bill Clinton elected president in 1992, says he thinks the Democrats' presidential nominee can turn Georgia blue in November.

"It's been a long time since I've worked there [Georgia]," Begala said. "But yes is a short answer."

Begala seemed pleasantly surprised when he was told that the Obama campaign had opened more than a dozen offices in the Peach State.

"I'm glad they're [the Obama campaign] working it," Begala continued.
